In a distant future, humanity fights to survive. Pollution has devastated Earth, and the remnants of civilization are confined within massive prison cities known as Panopticons. Resources are so scarce that simply being alive is considered a crime - newborns are immediately sentenced to a million years of imprisonment. These individuals, called "Sinners," have only one alternative to rotting away behind bars: fight for freedom. Team up with others to gather supplies, rescue civilians from enemy abductions, or take up arms against rival Sinners.FREEDOM WARS Remastered returns with upgrades including 4K resolution, enhanced textures, 60fps performance, a reworked weapon crafting system, and new gameplay improvements - including selectable difficulty levels. Staying true to the acclaimed original, players must enter combat zones to survive. Luckily, they're equipped with powerful Thorn weapons that allow for fluid, three-dimensional movement - enabling jumps, climbs, and swift attacks. Thorns can also be used to bind enemies or even tear off limbs to collect valuable resources.Each player is assigned to a Panopticon - a prison with its own identity. Through combat, players earn Entitlement Points, which can be spent to unlock basic human rights such as the ability to run for a few seconds or simply recline while seated. Fully customizable android wardens watch every move - but can also support players in battle.Community within the Panopticon is essential. Up to four players - whether AI-controlled or online - can join forces in challenging missions. Together, they'll face tougher enemies and work to reduce their astronomical sentence in a desperate fight for freedom.
